Request for Proposal for Owner Advisor - Dewatering Improvements Project, Engineering Consultant Services

This advertisement is in response to EBMUD Contractor Equity Program. Burns and McDonnell intends to conduct itself in "Good Faith" with subcontracting firms regarding participation on this project.
Quotes are required by COB, December 12th, 2025 so that all bids/proposals can be fairly evaluated.
Our firms seeks qualified firm(s) the perform the following:
Professional Meeting Facilitation
Provide comprehensive support for key infrastructure projects. We would be serving as an owner's advisor firm looking for a partner to manage and facilitate critical project meetings, such as design charrettes and stakeholder workshops.
The ideal candidate will be a team that can handle all aspects of meeting coordination, from selecting the location to managing all logistical details. We are looking for a firm with a strong presence in the San Francisco Bay Area and a proven track record of success.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Planning and coordinating all meeting logistics, including venue selection, scheduling and communications.
• Facilitating meetings to ensure productive discussions and clear outcomes.
• Managing a wide range of stakeholders with diverse interests.
Qualifications:
• Must be located in the SF Bay Area.
• Experience working with public agencies is highly desirable.
• A history of work with EBMUD is a significant plus.
On-Site Construction Administration Support for SF Bay Area Projects
Our firm, serving as the owner's advisor on critical infrastructure projects, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented construction administration partner. We are looking for a team to act as our "eyes and ears" on the field, providing essential on-site oversight and support.
The successful candidate will be embedded in the project, working from the job trailer to ensure construction activities align with design drawings and project specifications. Your role is to be our on-site representative, proactively identifying issues and ensuring quality control throughout the construction lifecycle.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Providing a consistent on-site presence, operating from the job trailer as a direct representative of the owner's interests.
• Meticulously reviewing construction progress against project drawings and specifications.
• Managing and tracking Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals, ensuring they are addressed and resolved efficiently.
• Serving as the primary construction observer for field activities, documenting progress and reporting on all findings.
• Delivering comprehensive construction administration support to the project management team.
Qualifications:
• Must be located in the SF Bay Area and able to be on-site.
• Must have experience with wastewater treatment plants
• Proven experience in construction administration and field observation for large-scale projects.
• A history of work with public agencies, with experience with EBMUD considered a major advantage.
Bonding not required. E & O insurance may be required as applicable.
