The purpose of this request for proposal is to enter into a contract with a qualified firm to provide comprehensive Food Recovery Management and Distribution Services in Rockland County. It is anticipated that this RFP will result in either a single contract with one vendor and its multiple sub-contractors, or several contracts with multiple vendors, for the provision of the following services:

Coordination/administration of the food recovery and distribution program
Recover and distribute food to food pantries/feeding programs throughout Rockland County
