Project Scope of Work

The project consists of the replacement of the existing boat launch facility with a new, fully accessible facility that includes ADA-compliant ramps and boarding floats.

Scope Overview

The work includes demolition of the existing structures and construction of a new boat launch system complete with accessible gangways, floating docks, and associated site improvements.

Trades Involved

The project will require coordination of the following trades:

Demolition

Removal of existing boat launch structures, ramps, docks, and associated utilities as required.

Earthworks

Excavation, grading, compaction, and subgrade preparation.

Cast-in-Place Concrete

Boat launch ramp

Foundations

Pile caps and structural elements

Sidewalks and related flatwork

Concrete Piles

Supply and installation of precast or cast-in-place concrete piles for structural and dock support.

Concrete Floating Dock

Fabrication and installation of reinforced concrete floating dock system.

Aluminum Gangways

Fabrication and installation of ADA-compliant aluminum gangways.

Aluminum Guardrails

Installation of safety and code-compliant aluminum railing systems.

Boarding Floats

Installation of boarding floats for vessel access.

Plumbing

Installation, relocation, or modification of site water services and drainage infrastructure as required.

Electrical

Lighting systems

Power supply to dock areas

Conduits and associated infrastructure

Asphalt Pavements

Parking lot restoration or reconstruction

Access roads and tie-ins

Site Drainage

Storm drainage systems

Catch basins, piping, and outfalls

Surface water management improvements
