We are soliciting quotes for aggregate suppliers, HMA suppliers, sports equipment suppliers (tennis), demolition contractors, lime treat contractors, grading contractors, site concrete contractors, paving contractors, tennis court striping contractors, fencing contractors, surveyors, street sweeping, and trucking.

This scope of the project consists of the following:

Demo and remove existing tennis court paving. Excavate down and place 12" of lime treated soil on undisturbed native soil. Place 2 layers of AC paving. Pour concrete curbs at perimeter and at fencing locations that separate the courts. Apply Tennis Court Surfacing and striping. Installation of Tennis nets and benches. Install new fencing separating the courts.


Quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary. Every Subcontractor is required to be registered with the State DIR to perform public work. Subcontractors must be prepared to furnish payment and performance bonds issued by a California admitted surety that is acceptable to Martin General Engineering (MGE). MGE will reimburse the Subcontractor for the premium costs of the bonds at standard premium rates not to exceed 1.5%. The Subcontractor must possess current general commercial liability insurance and workers compensation insurance per Owner's requirements. MGE's listing of a subcontractor in its bid to the public agency is not to be construed as an acceptance of all the Subcontractor's conditions or exceptions included with Subcontractor's price quotes.

MGE is signatory to the following unions: Operating Engineers, Laborers, and Cement Masons.
