Project Description:
Replacement of the existing Bound Brook Pump Station (BBPS) with a new submersible pump station, Control Building and emergency generator. Work also consists of demo of the existing BBPS superstructure, mechanical and electrical equipment. The repurposing of the existing BBPS foundation, construction of new influent chamber, restroom building and facilities, control building and valve chamber. Installation of gravity sewer, manholes, isolation slide gates comminutors, pumps, valves, force main, piping, flow meters, and a generator. Utility replacement and relocation, electrical and instrumentation integration for new equipment. Bypass pumping during 3 separate shutdowns including temp frac tank storage and release back into the system after temp short term shut downs.
