INVITATION FOR SUBCONTRACTOR'S BID
We are requesting sub bids and material quotes from Certified DVBE, LBE, DBE, MBE, WBE, SBE and all others for:

Title: VCUSD Portables Replacement Phase 2 Est. $2.0M Bid Date & Time: 6/10/26 @ 2PM
Owner: Vallejo City Unified School District
Locations: (1) Federal Terrace ES - 415 Daniels Ave (2) Glen Cove ES - 501 Glen Cove Pkwy (3) Steffan Manor ES - 815 Cedar Street, All in Vallejo, CA

SCOPE: Lease Leaseback Guaranteed Maximum Price Project, consisting of associated sitework and utility infrastructure work for the Portables Replacement at three (3) Elementary School campuses, including:

Utilities:
o power and fire alarm infrastructure (above and underground),
o site light fixtures,
o Data/Clock/PA devices inside portables,
o new fire hydrant, including underground piping and street hot-tap (in Steffan Manor only),
Sitework:
o AC flatwork,
o Concrete steps and ramp extensions,
o Chain-link fences,

NO Project Labor Agreement (PLA) / Prevailing Wage & Weekly Certified Payroll Reports on LCP Tracker / Skilled & Trained Workforce Requirements / See "Owner Contract Extracts for Subs" folder on BuildingConnected for Insurance to Include in bid / 5% Retention / RFI Deadline is 5/20/26 by 5PM / MEP+FS Subs MUST be Prequalified with District 2 weeks prior to bid / Duration Dates 6/18/26 - 8/10/26 /
$1,000 per Calendar Day - Liquidated Damages / Non-Mandatory for Subs / Highly Recommended Site Walk on W 5/27 @ 3PM - See Bid Clarification / Refer to "Owner Contract Extracts for Sub Bids" folder on Building Connected for additional bid documentation to include in your bid. / If any information provided in the Project Manual/Specifications conflicts with owner contract extracts, then the info from the Owner Contract will prevail. / 2-Year General Warranty (refer to your spec section for other potential warranties)

New as of 1/1/24: New California Air Resource Board or C.A.R.B. requirements apply to all subcontractors with equipment on-site. current certificates of compliance from the Air Resource Board's D.O.O.R.S. website and compliant equipment on-site will be required/collected/and monitored at all times by Alten on-site staff.

It is now State of CA law to include CSLB license # & DIR # on bid sub list - make sure to put them on your bid scope's 1st page!

Alten Construction may implement a CCIP (Contractor Controlled Insurance Program) on this or any Project, but you are required to include the cost for all required insurance in your bid.
