Project Details

The Code of Federal Regulations requires local agencies receiving federal funds to encourage the use of small and minority firms, Women’s Business Enterprises (WBE), and labor surplus area firms when possible. As such, Consultants meeting the definition of one of the above and meeting the requirements of this RFP are encouraged to respond and will be considered in the City’s review and ranking process.

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to secure the services of a Consultant to provide professional engineering services for proposed PFAS northerly and southerly water supply treatment improvements, associated influent water distribution pipeline systems from the City's existing groundwater wells to the treatment plants in question, product water transmission pipeline systems from the treatment plants back out to the City's existing water transmission system, and associated improvements and services provided herein. The Consultant's scope of work shall generally consist of the preparation of construction plans, specifications (special conditions section), engineer's estimate, and record drawings. Note: These engineering services will be partially funded by federal funds. Project development and implementation shall be in accordance with all applicable U.S. EPA Region 9 procurement requirements for community grant recipients and other referenced standards.
