This project consist of sitework in preparation for the installation of a two story modular building and pre-fabricated modular elevator and the construction of a custom shade structure. The modular buildings are being furnished and installed by the Owner and a responsibility matrix has been developed for reference.
The trades required for this project include, but are not limited to, the following: Site Demolition, Site Utilities, Earthwork, Structural Steel and Metal Fabrications, Sheet Metal Flashings, Roofing, Finishes, All Signage, Electrical, Low Voltage, Landscaping, Asphalt Paving, Striping and Fencing.

This project is subject to the district's prequalification requirement that applies to prime contractors and MEP sub-contractors with the following licenses:
General Contractors (A and B), Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing subcontractors (C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and C-46) The District must receive complete applications at least ten (10) business days prior to the scheduled bid opening on any advertised project in order for the candidate to qualify for a project in excess of $1,000,000 and partially funded by the State. Pre-qualification approval will remain valid for one (1) calendar year from the date of notice of qualification except as noted in the pre-qualification documents. Fowler Unified School District has contracted with Colbi Technologies to provide a web-based process for submitting to their Prequalified Contractor and CUPCCAA lists called Quality Bidders. Subcontractor Bond Requirements: It shall be the responsibility of each subcontractor submitting bids to BMY Construction Group, Inc. ("BMY") to be prepared to submit a faithful performance and payment bond or bonds if so requested by BMY covering 100% of subcontractors' contract amount.
BMY will pay actual bond premium amount up to 2% of the subcontractors' contract amount.
Subcontractors submitting bids will be required to execute a BMY subcontract agreement without modifications upon award. A copy of our subcontract agreement is available for review at BMY's office (5485 E. Olive Ave. Fresno, CA 93727) between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday. Plans and specifications can be viewed at our office or on our online plan room.
