We are seeking quotes for: paving, fencing, rebar, masonry, metal deck, roofing, insulation, overhead doors, painting, electrical and HVAC.
General Description of the Work: the work at the Bernina site consists of providing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, facilities, transportation and incidentals necessary to construct modifications of existing piping; installation of four clearwell pumps, two cartridge filters, two pairs of ion exchange vessels connected in a lead-lag configuration, four flow meters, two in-line mixers; and four peristaltic pumps. The Cedar Glen site consists of providing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, facilities, transportation and incidentals necessary to construct modifications of existing piping, installation of two clearwell pumps, one cartridge filter, one pair of ion exchange vessels connected in a lead-lag configuration, two flow meters, three in-line mixers; and four peristaltic pumps.
Additionally, for both sites, all incidental work as required by the specifications and construction drawings, the district's standard specifications and drawings, and permits or regulatory agency requirements to complete the project in its entirety.
Contractor Registration Requirements: per California Labor Code Section 1725.5, in order for a subcontractor to bid on or be listed on a bid for work performance on a public works contract, subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations and be qualified to perform public work. Subcontractor must also possess a valid Contractor's License with the State of California.
This project is funded, in whole or in part, through the Federal Emerging Contaminants in Small or Disadvantaged Communities Grant Program administered by the California State Water Resources Control Board. It is subject to the payment of prevailing wages, Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) requirements, and all applicable federal funding requirements including: build America, Buy America (BABA) provisions, Davis-bacon Act Compliance, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements. In addition, American Iron and Steel (AIS) requires DWSRF funding recipients to use iron and steel products in the U.S.

All proposers are bound by the prime contract's terms and conditions, including payment provisions. Insurance coverage is required as set by the prime contract and/or Olsson Construction - whichever is greater. Minimum insurance requirements: General Liability $1M-Per Occurrence/$2M-Aggregate/$2M-Completed Operations; Excess Liability $5M; Auto Liability $1M; Workers Compensation & Employer Liability $1M.
