We are seeking quotes from CERTIFIED DISABLED VETERAN BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (DVBE) subcontractors for the following trades: Demolition, Metal Stud Framing & Drywall, Acoustical Ceilings, Flooring, Painting, Miscellaneous Specialties, Mechanical, Audio/Visual-Low Voltage, Signage, Electrical, Site Security, Final Cleaning

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Classroom renovations are planned at Aragon and Mills High Schools for Summer 2027, including new flooring & baseboards, updated markerboards and monitors, valve replacement - Mechanical, acoustical ceiling tiles, paint, and upgraded lighting. Both schools will be going simultaneously during the summer.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE: Start -June 2027. Duration - 2 months.

LABOR REQUIREMENTS: Union Labor required for trades claimed by carpenters, laborers, operating engineers / Prevailing Wage for all trades

PREQUALIFICATION WITH DISTRICT: Prior to award, Electrical and Audio-Visual / Low-Voltage subcontractors will also be required to prequalify with San Mateo Union High School District. That annual prequalification process will open in December 2026.
